6th Grade Students will be required to complete 4 hours of service: (3rd Trimester log is due: May 29th)

One hour of service will be for school (Mazzuchelli)

One hour of service will be for the community. This must be service for a non-family member.

Two hours of service for their parish. In the weekly Mazzuchelli newsletter, which is posted online every Friday, we list parish opportunities for service hours.

I have provided a service log for students to complete. They will need to have:

A school or parish service opportunity is students can write 2 letters welcoming new parishioners. If they complete both letters, I will give him 1/2 hour of school or parish service. Have your student ask me for the card stock for the letters. It needs to contain the following:

I gave each student a handout with specific details for their book reports. I have made some adjustments since I handed the book report criteria sheet out. I only require 4 book reports for the full school year instead of 5. The third book report is due May 25, 2012.
