Moving right along…….

This week will be a short week as the kids do not have school on Friday. It is a teacher in-service day. Hopefully the weather will be wonderful for a great 3-day weekend!

I was so proud of your children on our visit to Stonehill last Wednesday. They were wonderful. I enjoyed watching them interact with our elderly friends. Thanks to Mrs. Huntington for coming up with and teaching the craft the students made with the elderly. Everyone enjoyed making our blessing crosses and they turned out beautiful. It was a big success.  Thanks too for all who have graciously volunteered to drive to our many field trips so far this year. We have one more coming up in early Oct.

Monday- Band lessons and band practice tonight. Students need to remember to bring band instruments and gym clothes. Our Loras clinical student will be with us helping the students become better readers today.

Tuesday-Drama club meets after school today.

Wednesday- Mass this morning. Please feel free to worship with us.  At 6PM the Walk-a- Thon Family Night activity gets underway. Get ready to decorate sidewalks up and down Rush and Cleveland Streets. Should be lots of fun.

Thursday-Walk-a-Thon begins at 1:15. We will be walking first and then playing games on the field while the 2nd group walks. Come and enjoy the afternoon with us!!

Friday- a day off……enjoy a long weekend!

Welcome to 5th Grade

Welcome to Mrs. Arenz’s 5th grade class!

This is going to be an awesome year!

I am looking forward to spending a lot of quality time with all of you this year.  Lots of fun and challenging activities have been planned to help you all have a successful 5th grade year.  Parents, please check this site frequently as I will be posting assignments, expectations, and just some general information about what is happening in 5th grade.  It is another great resource to use to stay informed.  Again, welcome to 5th grade.
